Hello from Alaska, friends!
I hop on a four hour train ride today to Anchorage. But more about my time here in Alaska next week.
What do you do when the world stops, but you just got to do what you love?
You form a film company.
Pick a funky name.
And start doing what you do best - make movies.
Our short film “Embers,” like our company Itchy Rodent Films, was born from the ashes of the pandemic. Four years later, we are still here and, most amazingly, our 2025-26 film slate is made up of four feature films.
“Embers” was written and directed by my friend and partner in IRF, Benjamin Ross Johnson. It won numerous awards and played in 72 Festivals around the world. It solidified our partnership, company vision and focus on making films that matter.
Building up on the release of “Kaval Park” on May 24th, we have just released “Embers” on YouTube for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy!
Keep making art!
