For a while I’ve been wanting to share my latest music video collaboration with Stars at Dawn. I love directing music videos! They allow for experimentation and offer a unique form of expression inherent to the medium.
This music video started its journey in 2011 as a film idea and I was so unhappy that we couldn’t get funding for the entire short film that I threw away what we had shot. Somehow, I found the footage years later. Then, in 2021, I met Brian from Stars at Dawn and fell in love with his music. He wrote the song after getting inspired by the visuals and our conversations around them. We get many ideas playing chess together, ideas we hope to bring to a smart device near you in the days, years and centuries to come…
